The wait list will include properties in areas that the individual or family wish to reside in. Once a rental property is available the person or family will be notified and they can start the process of acquiring the property as a rental residence.

 

Landlords that choose to participate in section 8 housing will have to adhere to a strict set of rules and guidelines that are set forth by HUD. These rules include safe residences that also provide adequate utilities for tenants. Landlords that adhere to these rules find themselves in positive situations.
